Ukrainian boxer Vladislav Sirenko scored an impressive victory at the Zuffa Boxing 9 tournament held in New York. On the night of July 27, our heavyweight knocked out the well-known Swedish favorite Otto Wallin, proving his superiority in the 10-round bout.

From the very first seconds of the fight, Sirenko seized the initiative and forced the Swede to fight at a fast pace, working at close range. Vallin, who was considered the favorite, tried to fend off the Ukrainian’s attacks with jabs, but Vladislav regularly broke through his defense with dangerous punches. Although the pace of the fight slowed down by the middle rounds, Sirenko looked fresher than his opponent.

In the 8th and 9th rounds, the Ukrainian stepped up his intensity again, forcing Wallin to make mistakes. The fight was decided in the final round when, just seconds before the end, Sirenko landed a powerful left hook to Vallin’s head. The Swede fell to the canvas and was unable to get up for a long time, even with the help of the medical team.
