On Wednesday, September 4, a Russian drone attacked the main building of the Security Service of Ukraine on Volodymyrska Street in Kyiv, located across from St. Sophia Cathedral.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that the drone was aimed directly at the office of SBU Head Oleksandr Pokladov. All emergency services are on the scene, providing assistance to those affected.
After speaking with the head of the Security Service, Zelenskyy ordered “adequate” and “reciprocal” measures in response to the attack. He emphasized that the Ukrainian military is ready to support the response.
This incident occurred during the fourth air raid alert of the day declared in the capital.
