Ukrainian troops have destroyed more than 100 Russian fuel trains

Fighters from the 1st Corps of the National Guard “Azov” attacked more than 100 Russian trains in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk Oblast that were transporting fuel for the Russian Armed Forces.

The attacks were carried out using Ukrainian drones, which struck locomotives and fuel tank cars in towns such as Volnovakha, Yasynuvata, Debaltseve, Yenakiieve, and Dovzhansk, according to the Azov press service.

The Russian military command claims to have “taken control” of settlements in eastern Ukraine; however, Russian troops are unable to protect key railway stations through which trains carrying fuel are supplied to the front lines.

As a result of attacks by Ukrainian forces, fuel supply chains to the front lines were disrupted, leading to a shortage of ammunition and a weakening of support for Russian combat units.

This, in turn, has negatively impacted the offensive capabilities of Russian soldiers, who now find themselves facing a shortage of resources.

Recently, the Armed Forces of Ukraine also struck a railway bridge across the Unecha River in the Bryansk region to hinder the delivery of equipment and fuel to Russian troops.
