On the night of June 24, Ukraine came under attack from Russia involving 101 strike drones. Air defense forces managed to destroy nearly all of the enemy drones, although a few still reached their targets.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing a Telegram post from the Ukrainian Air Force.
The Russians carried out the attack using Shahed drones, “Gerbera,” "Italmas," and "Parody" decoy drones from the Orel, Kursk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk regions, as well as from the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk Oblast and Crimea.
The Ukrainian Air Force, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces actively repelled the attack.
As of 08:30, preliminary data indicate that 95 Shahed, “Gerbera,” “Italmas,” and other types of drones were shot down or neutralized in the north, south, and east of the country.

Six strike drones were recorded hitting five targets, and debris was found at six locations.
“The attack is ongoing; enemy drones are in the airspace. Follow safety guidelines!” the Air Force warns.
Previous Attacks
As a reminder, on the night of June 22–23, Russia attacked Ukraine with 135 attack drones, including “Shahed,” “Gerbera,” “Italmas,” and “Parody” decoy drones.
Air defense forces were able to shoot down most of the enemy drones, but 13 drones struck 11 targets, and debris from the downed drones fell at three additional locations.
