Six people were killed and 19 others were wounded in an attack in Zaporizhzhia

On the night of August 11, Russian troops launched a massive attack on Zaporizhzhia, killing at least six civilians in the city and wounding 19 others. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this in a Telegram post, according to RBC-Ukraine.

According to the head of state, efforts to address the aftermath of this strike have been ongoing since last night. For this new airstrike, the aggressor used North Korean ballistic missiles, “Zircons,” and KABs.

“This brutal attack was aimed at causing maximum destruction to civilian infrastructure. Unfortunately, as of now, six people are known to have been killed and nineteen wounded in the city. I extend my condolences to their families and loved ones,” Zelenskyy emphasized.

Attacks on Other Regions of Ukraine

The president also confirmed that in Kyiv, the enemy damaged an infectious diseases hospital and several businesses. In addition, Russia is intensifying its terror campaign using drones in communities near the front lines.

According to Zelenskyy, in Kherson and Kharkiv, the enemy struck power substations, leading to power outages. “All services are working to restore power to families. Strikes were also carried out in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Mykolaiv regions. In addition to missiles, more than 120 drones were used against Ukraine, most of which were “Shahed” jet drones,” the head of state clarified.
