In the Kharkiv sector, Russian troops are regrouping and continuing their attempts to advance.
This was reported by Joint Forces Spokesperson Viktor Tregubov during a telethon, according to RBC-Ukraine.
Situation on the front
As of this morning, the situation on the front remains tense. Tregubov noted that the Russians are actively regrouping and preparing for new offensives in areas such as Velykoburluk, Kupiansk, and others.
Despite recent losses, Russian troops are attempting to resume offensive operations.
Russia’s spring-summer offensive
ISW analysts indicate that Russia has launched a spring-summer offensive campaign against Ukraine’s “belt of fortresses” in the Donetsk region. The main pressure is concentrated on the Lyman direction.
On March 21, the commander of the Third Army Corps, Andriy Biletsky, reported on attacks by the occupiers across seven directions.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia’s spring offensive campaign has failed. Russian forces are unable to advance with heavy equipment, carrying out only infiltration in small groups.
