Russia carried out large-scale attacks on the Sumy region using missiles and drones

Over the 24-hour period from June 22 to June 23, Russian troops carried out nearly 50 strikes on the territory of Sumy Oblast. As a result of the attacks, 23 settlements in 13 territorial communities were affected, and nine people were wounded. This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration, according to Glavkom.

The Sumy and Shostka districts were hit the hardest.

Russian forces used various types of weapons, including missiles, guided aerial bombs, artillery, mortars, FPV drones, and other unmanned aerial vehicles.

Injuries in the Bilopil Community

Four people were injured in the rocket strike: three women aged 61, 55, and 42, as well as a 30-year-old man.

Casualties in the Sumy community

A 57-year-old man, two women aged 35 and 47, and a 41-year-old man were injured as a result of strikes by guided aerial bombs. Another 41-year-old man was injured in a drone attack, and a 44-year-old man was wounded by an explosive device.

Infrastructure Damage

In the Vorozhba community, a private home was destroyed, and other structures were damaged. In the Khutir-Mykhailivska community, a residential building was damaged. In the Sumy community, civilian infrastructure, non-residential buildings, and a car were damaged, and a trolleybus was destroyed.

In the Bilopil community, educational institutions and apartment buildings were damaged.
