Overview of the situation at the front in Ukraine as of March 26, 2026

Over the past 24 hours, 158 combat engagements have been recorded. Ukrainian forces continue to defend themselves effectively, inflicting significant losses on the aggressor. Our defenders are resolutely countering the enemy’s attempts to advance deeper into our territory, inflicting serious fire damage on them.

Latest news from the war

Yesterday, the aggressor carried out 70 airstrikes, dropping 231 guided bombs. In addition, 9,414 kamikaze drones were deployed, and 4,184 attacks were launched against populated areas and our troops’ positions, including 131 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems.

Airstrikes were carried out, in particular, in the areas of settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region, such as Velykomykhailivka, Gavrylivka, Pidhavrylivka, Kolomytsi, Novoselivka, and Khrystoforivka. In Zaporizhzhia Oblast, the following areas were affected: Vozdvizhivka, Huliaipilske, Yegorivka, Shyroke, Kopani, Dolynka, Verkhnia Tersa, Kamianka, Voskresenka, Barvinivka, Novosoloshyne, Liubymivka, Veselyanka, and Novooleksandrivka.

Current situation on the front

Over the past 24 hours, the Air Force, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck one drone command post and eight areas where enemy personnel and equipment were concentrated.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions

Over the past day, the enemy carried out 89 attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas, including four attacks using multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS). One airstrike was carried out using four guided bombs. Three combat engagements were recorded during the day.

In the Southern Slobozhansky direction

The enemy attempted three times to break through our defenders’ defensive lines in the direction of Starytsia, Zybynove, and Okhrimivka.

In the Kupiansk direction

The enemy attempted to attack four times in the direction of Nova Kruhlyakivka, Kurylivka, and Platonivka.
