On the night of April 22, Russia launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine, deploying 215 attack drones from various directions. Ukrainian air defenses managed to shoot down 189 of them.
Attack on the Odesa Region
Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, reported that the region’s port infrastructure came under attack. Despite the active efforts of air defense forces, damage to facilities was recorded, but fortunately, there were no casualties. The resulting fires were quickly extinguished.
Shelling in Dnipro
In Dnipro, residential buildings and cars caught fire as a result of the attack. Strikes on railway infrastructure were also recorded, resulting in one fatality.
Kharkiv region
Russian troops shelled an agricultural enterprise in Velykyi Burluk, causing a fire in the administrative building. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
- In total, drone debris was recorded at 13 locations, and 24 strike drones were reported to have hit their targets.
- Rescue workers were on the scene.
