The morning in Kramatorsk began with a devastating airstrike by Russian forces, which left three people injured and caused damage to numerous buildings. This was reported by Oleksandr Goncharenko, head of the Kramatorsk City Military Administration, on his Facebook page.
It has been reported that the attackers dropped five FAB-250 bombs on the city, damaging residential areas and critical civilian infrastructure.
"According to preliminary data, two women and one man were injured. Fourteen apartment buildings were destroyed, and an educational institution and administrative buildings were damaged," Goncharenko noted.
Rescue workers and utility services are actively working at the sites of the attacks to address the damage caused by the strikes.
Earlier, on May 22, Russian forces also carried out strikes on the Donetsk region, resulting in seven casualties.
