Frontline Update: July 27, 2026

Over the past 24 hours, our military has recorded 264 combat engagements. Ukrainian defenders remain steadfast, repelling the occupiers’ attacks and inflicting significant losses on the enemy. Troops continue to defend resolutely, preventing the enemy from advancing deeper into the territory while delivering effective strikes against the enemy.

Latest News on Military Operations

According to updated data, the enemy carried out two missile strikes using nine missiles, as well as 96 airstrikes, dropping 317 guided bombs. At the same time, the occupiers deployed 8,884 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,028 shelling attacks on populated areas and the positions of our troops, 50 of which were carried out using multiple launch rocket systems. This information was provided by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Air and Artillery Strikes

Over the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck 17 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, as well as a drone control center and a command-and-observation post.

Situation in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk Directions

Over the past day, our defenders successfully repelled an enemy assault. The aggressor carried out an airstrike using three guided bombs and conducted 77 artillery attacks, one of which involved multiple launch rocket systems.

Developments in the Southern Slobozhansky direction

Ukrainian units repelled eleven enemy attacks. The invaders attempted to advance in the areas of Starytsia and Lyman, as well as in the directions of Izbytske, Volokhivka, and Okhrimivka.

Attacks in the Kupiansk direction

The enemy made three attempts to break through toward Kupiansk, Podoly, and Kurylivka.

Attempts to break through in the Lyman sector

Enemy attacks on the Lyman sector were repelled, where the occupiers made twenty attempts to break through.
