On the night of March 27, Russian forces attacked Ukraine, launching over a hundred attack drones of various types. A significant portion of these enemy targets was successfully destroyed by air defense forces.
According to a report by RBC-Ukraine, citing the Telegram channel of the Ukrainian Air Force, the enemy deployed 102 drones of the Shahed, "Gerbera," "Italmas," and other types. The attack was launched from the directions of Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, as well as Gvardeyskoye in the temporarily occupied Crimea. Approximately 60 of these drones were Shaheds.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups. According to preliminary data, as of 08:30, defenders shot down or neutralized 93 enemy drones in northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine.
At the same time, nine strike drones were recorded hitting eight different locations, and downed enemy targets and their debris were found in four locations.
As a reminder, on the night of March 27, the Russians also attacked Kharkiv with a missile strike, hitting an apartment building and injuring 8 people. Additionally, on the evening of March 26, the occupiers struck transport infrastructure in Chernihiv, reportedly injuring one person.
