The Ukrainian company Swarmer has joined forces with the American company Brightline Interactive to integrate its drone swarm control software with the SpatialCore platform. This partnership aims to leverage the combat experience of Ukrainian drones to improve artificial intelligence models being developed for the U.S. Department of Defense.
According to a memorandum of understanding, the Ukrainian side will provide its combat-proven algorithms, and the American platform will integrate them for data collection and analysis. This will make it possible to consolidate information from drones made by different manufacturers, accelerate the training of AI models, and create a unified operational environment for the military.
The collaboration also includes joint research in the field of artificial intelligence and the use of Brightline Interactive’s contracting capabilities to advance technologies in Pentagon projects. Swarmer President Alex Fink noted that combining the platforms will significantly accelerate the training of artificial intelligence models using data from millions of missions. Taylor Gates, president of Brightline Interactive, emphasized that the partnership will improve the military’s situational awareness.
Swarmer specializes in developing software that enables a single operator to effectively control a group of autonomous drones.
