Tournament Details
The tournament is held every two years under the auspices of the European Mini-Soccer Federation (EMF) and is a prestigious international competition for national teams in a 7-on-7 format. Twenty-four national teams participated in the final stage of Euro 2026, competing in a playoff to determine the champion.
7-a-side soccer is not part of the UEFA or FIFA tournament systems; it is a separate variant of futsal with its own international federations, European championships, and world championships. Ukraine has traditionally been among the continent’s strongest national teams and regularly competes for medals at major tournaments.
