On the night of June 7, Russian troops launched another attack on the Odesa region, targeting civilian and residential areas. As a result of falling debris, damage, fires, and injuries to one resident were reported in several settlements in the region. This information was provided by Glavkom, citing the Odesa Military Administration.
In Odesa, a fire broke out in a non-residential building in one of the city’s districts. Emergency responders from the State Emergency Service, who quickly responded to the call, managed to promptly contain and extinguish the fire.
Unfortunately, a 41-year-old man was injured during the attack in Odesa, sustaining shrapnel wounds. He received prompt medical attention, and according to Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, his condition is currently satisfactory, and hospitalization is not required.
The night was also difficult for Chornomorsk, where significant damage was reported in several locations. Residential buildings were damaged, as well as a structure on the grounds of a local church, which demonstrates the occupiers’ disregard for spiritual values. Debris severed a gas pipe, prompting emergency crews to be dispatched to the scene. Two large trucks were also damaged.
In the Chornomorsk community, damage to private homes was reported, but fortunately, there were no casualties.
