The ATP leader is accused of not paying taxes in his home country, despite his substantial income. The latest wave of criticism arose after an event featuring journalists Giovanna Botteri and Luca Sommi. They questioned Sinner’s choice, highlighting the benefits he derives from Monaco’s tax regime.
Sommi was particularly critical, comparing Sinner to Carlos Alcaraz, who remained a tax resident of Spain. He asked, “If you earn 70 million euros a year, why not follow Alcaraz’s example?”
Reaction to the Criticism
