Journalists were able to uncover the names of the suspects in the murder case of Anastasia Berezovskaya, who was wanted by Interpol for the attempted murder of businessman Vadim Yermolayev in Monaco. This was reported by “Glavkom,” citing the “Schemes” project.
Names of the suspects
Ukrainian law enforcement officials named an employee of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense among the suspects. The media had previously reported his name as Yevhen Reut, but according to two independent sources, the suspicion was directed at his brother, Vladyslav Reut. He is 33 years old, from Zhytomyr, and a graduate of the Faculty of Law at Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics.

In the NumBuster app, which shows how a user is listed in other people’s phones, there is a tag “Vlad the Lawyer.” The court registry also contains references to a person with that name in several cases. Since 2022, he has likely served in military unit A2772, which is a training center for the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Journalists attempted to contact Vladislav Reut’s father, but he declined to comment, saying he was unaware of the situation. They also contacted Yevhen Reut, but he declined to comment without a lawyer present.
The Second Suspect
The second suspect is believed to be a 49-year-old native of Uman who worked as a police officer in the Kyiv region until 2020. His name in the mobile app is tagged with “OPV UKR,” which may indicate certain connections.
