Fighting has intensified on the front lines in the Pokrovsk sector

Over the past 24 hours, 241 combat engagements have taken place on the front lines between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian troops. The highest number of attacks was recorded in the Pokrovsk sector, where the enemy carried out 47 assaults. High activity was also observed in the Huliaipole, Lyman, Sloviansk, and Kostyantynivka sectors.

According to information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, published on Facebook, as of 8:00 a.m. on Friday, June 12, the enemy had launched one missile strike using two missiles and carried out 116 airstrikes, dropping 317 guided bombs. In addition, 10,104 kamikaze drones were used, and 3,528 attacks were carried out on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions, including 52 from multiple launch rocket systems.

Over the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck 17 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated and three artillery systems.

Shelling in various directions

In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors, the aggressor carried out one airstrike using three guided aerial bombs and conducted 55 attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas.

In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian units nine times in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia, Odradne, and Lyman, as well as in the direction of Kolodyazne, Okhrimivka, and Izbytske.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled two enemy attempts to advance toward the settlements of Bohuslavka and Kivsharivka.
